Dear Valued Merchant,
Due to recent changes in regulations by the Philippines government, businesses are now required to pre-register their alphanumeric Sender ID to be able to send SMS notifications to their customers, effective immediately from 30 September 2022.
We regret to inform you that there will be some inconvenience for Xendit's SMS notifications while our teams strive to gain full functionality again. This would impact the following temporarily: 1. You will not be able to receive OTP messages via SMS for the following scenarios: a. Login to your Xendit Dashboard Express Checkout b. You will no longer receive notifications via SMS with regards to your transactional statuses (i.e. success, failed, expired). However, you will still continue to receive these via email.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and would advise merchants who still have access to your accounts to take the following steps urgently: 1. Switch off your 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) Setup temporarily, until SMS functionality is fully restored, to prevent loss of account access.
2. If you do not wish to switch off 2FA entirely, you can still set it up using the "Authenticator App" method instead.
If you encounter any account access issues, please contact us immediately at help@xendit.ph and we will assist you promptly to ensure your operations can continue smoothly.
